Date: April 14, 2011
Location: Stroud, OK
Description:
This was a moderate risk day in eastern Oklahoma, with some of the better parameters in terrible terrain. We played a strategy of staying further north in hopes we could get a tornado in better terrain and road networks.
Just as we were about to give up on the day, a funnel appeared while at the turnpike rest area. We got off at the Stroud exit and watched the brief tornado from the Turnpike overpass.
