Left work early, then stuck around Norman for lunch trying to decide if I wanted to chase or not. Decided to head out after lunch. Got down to Hollis, OK before seeing a beautiful tornado fill social feeds down by Big Spring. We were over 2 hours away.
We blasted south to the storm that produced tornadoes in time to watch it gust out. Meanwhile, our original target near Lubbock had tornadoes we could have made it to.
Stupid chase day, long drive home. West Texas Bust.
